A slow page costs quietly. Visitors leave before the first screen loads, and a red PageSpeed score turns into a proposal for a rebuild the site may not need.

Most slow pages have a handful of specific causes: an image the browser finds late, a script that blocks, a font that shifts the layout. I trace the delay to its source, fix that piece, and show the before-and-after under the same conditions.

I check representative pages and separate slow server responses from late-loading images, blocking resources and expensive JavaScript. Your homepage and busiest content template can have very different problems.

That may mean resizing the hero image, serving better formats, loading fonts locally, removing unused CSS or changing when scripts run. I also inspect caching and server response when the delay starts there.

Before we get started
A few useful answers.
Can you do this without redesigning the website?
Often, yes. Many performance improvements happen in image delivery, styles, scripts, fonts and caching. If a visible change would help, I explain the tradeoff before making it.
Do I need to change hosting?
I start with your current setup. Code and asset improvements can be a project on their own. If the server is holding the site back, I can recommend and configure DreamHost hosting suited to the workload. We agree any migration and recurring hosting cost before proceeding.
Do you guarantee a 100 PageSpeed score?
No. I can show specific projects with 99–100 Lighthouse performance scores, but your site's platform, ads and third-party tools affect what is achievable. We work from a measured baseline and an agreed scope.
What does passing Core Web Vitals mean?
Google assesses loading, responsiveness and visual stability through LCP, INP and CLS. A field pass requires good results across all three at the 75th percentile. A newly optimized site needs real visitor data to demonstrate that result.
Will improving speed increase rankings or sales?
A faster, more responsive site gives visitors a better experience. Rankings and sales depend on other factors too. I report the performance changes we can measure without assigning them an invented revenue uplift.
