2 areas still need an owner
Name an owner for recovery and backups and customer journeys. A hosting account alone does not assign these tasks.
A useful first check: Trace a controlled inquiry from the website to a saved record and the person who responds. A successful page view does not prove delivery.
Map who will look after each part of your website, then download your choices to discuss the scope. Hosting and monthly website management have separate responsibilities and costs.

We define the software updates, backup arrangements, recovery checks and key website journeys that need attention. Maintenance includes checking the result of a change, such as whether a form still works after an update.
The agreement names the checks, frequency, access and incident response expectations.

New services, team changes, project updates and revised copy should have a clear route from request to publication. We agree what content work is included, who supplies or approves it, and how requests are prioritized.

Use performance checks, broken journeys and business priorities to decide what to improve next. The monthly plan can include agreed optimizations; a redesign, application or larger new feature is scoped as a separate project.

Your domain, website and service accounts remain in your control. Handover responsibilities are written into the plan.

DreamHost provides professional hosting and servers when hosting is part of the setup. I handle the agreed configuration, code and management work. An existing hosting arrangement is reviewed on its merits; a management plan does not automatically require a move.
DreamHost hosting, software licenses and other provider charges are listed separately from my management fee.

A few useful answers.
Can you manage a website you did not build?
Often. I review access, the platform, software condition and recovery arrangements first. If repairs or onboarding are needed before a monthly plan can start, that work is scoped separately.
Is this a monthly service?
Yes. We agree a recurring monthly management fee and written scope before starting. The plan also sets out how changes, renewal, cancellation and handover are handled.
Does management include unlimited changes?
The agreement defines the included work and how requests are prioritized. Larger features, new websites and work outside that allowance are quoted separately before they begin.
Do we have to move to DreamHost?
A hosting move is a separate decision. I review the existing setup and explain any requirements. When DreamHost hosting is included, its plan and charges are separate from my independent management service.
Can we start after you build our new website?
Yes. We can define the ongoing responsibilities during the website project so launch leads into a clear maintenance and improvement plan.
