Explain the company through its projects
Marcum & Sons works in heavy civil construction and infrastructure. Its website needs to communicate the scope of that work through service information, completed projects and the people behind the company.
I built the first site in 2019 and continued the relationship across later versions. The site has developed alongside the company's public presentation, with project case studies, photography, leadership information and an inquiry path.
Give significant work enough context
Roadways, bridges, airports and site development need more than a service label. The project pages show the work in context and provide a place for photography and relevant details.
The site also includes public-agency testimonials and information about the team. Together, those elements help a prospective customer understand the company's experience before making contact.
Keep the site usable over time
The ongoing work has involved gathering content, updating the presentation and maintaining the WordPress setup. A continuing relationship means the next set of improvements can be based on the actual site and its needs.
The client controls the site and service accounts. The technical setup and the outstanding work are documented rather than treated as a finished object that never needs attention.
Results and scope
Bid and revenue outcomes are not published. The project demonstrates a long-running website relationship and project-led presentation. The recorded review identifies a heavy hero video and further metadata work as improvement opportunities; this is not a performance-optimization success claim.
