Run the tournament from one application
Central Oregon Baseball needed team registration, payments, schedules, brackets and results to live in a coherent system. I built the application around the information teams, parents and organizers need at each stage of a tournament.
Public tournament pages include field information, rules and schedules. Organizers manage the records behind the event instead of keeping a collection of unrelated forms and hand-edited documents aligned.
Connect the registration and payment
Teams register through the site and pay through Stripe. The payment is part of the registration process, giving the organizer a record that can be followed through administration.
The application also includes umpire registration and information about the fields and complexes. These are different parts of the same event, so the public presentation and administration were designed together.
Keep the results current
Schedules, brackets, standings and results can be maintained from the administration interface. The application was maintained through the 2026 season as the organizer used it for tournament operations.
The build uses a small custom application and a database, with hosting and deployment arranged around its operating needs. The organizer owns the application and the payment relationship.
Results and scope
This case demonstrates a working event application and connected payments. Team counts and revenue are private and are not presented as outcomes here. The illustration on this page explains the kind of workflow involved; its sample records are not actual participant data.
